This year Christmas was quite relaxing for the family or rather for me :) We ate out with our dear friends , Ron and Kitty. We were invited to Citrus Wine & Dine for our Christmas Eve dinner. The food was awesome and the fellowship was even greater. The place was packed. No booking no feasting :p Yea, Kitty booked a table for five, a week earlier , and the five of us had a wonderful Christmas feasting together. Citrus Wine & Dine is located in Ipoh Garden East, facing the main road of Jalan Perajurit en route to Tambun/Sunway City has been around for a good few years now.

We opted for their Christmas set menu which came with the starter. Seasoned shrimps sits on a bed of cocktail fruits, pinenuts and pomogranate. The shrimps were so fresh that you could taste the sea mmmm every bite was springy....love it and wished they had given three pieces of shrimps to the cocktail starter instead of two :p

next came the mushroom soup which was creamy and flavorful
garnish with sweet corn and celery and carrots...a slice of
house bread which tasted fantastically soft and fluffy
Wild Boar opted for their tenderloin beef
the rest of us opted for their turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce
this is the best I had eaten thus far....the turkey meat was
tender and succulent and the stuffing was beyond description.
Awesome is the word !
the Christmas meal came with dessert which is.....
date pudding and vanilla ice cream...yummy !

Now you know why I am so relaxed...
