Yay yay.... *HAPPILY DANCING on tip toes * ........my babies books arrived today ! I ordered three books from Book Depository on the 8th January 2011 and two of them arrived today....exactly 2 weeks ! My new year present for myself , for a whooping USD120 ( RM360 ) I bought three cookbooks ! Hahaha ... I am so happy, I am going to sleep with them tonight! I have been wanting to get Dorie Greenspan's Baking From My Home To Yours two years ago and now finally I made up my mind to rightfully own this book.
I ordered from Book Depository these books to start the year rolling........:p :p * someone will soon lecture me on this , but I just have to have them :)
1) Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan
2) The Fundamental Techniques of Classic Pastry Arts by International Culinary Center and Judith Choate
3) The Bread Baker's Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread by Peter Reinhart and Ron Manville
You cannot imagine how happy I am today when I see these two parcels waiting for me to open them when I came home from work :) And the other person eagerly waiting for me to open the parcels is none other than a book lover, Piggy Jo LOL! She is excited when she sees new books. She will hold it and smell it and mmmm I love the smell of new books too! I know for sure I will be hugging my ' Babies ' to sleep tonight LOL!

ReplyDeleteBtw, I don't have Around My French Table. It is not available in TW and getting "ang moh" cooking ingredients here is difficult too. So I have no intention of getting it yet. Sorry that I won't be able to tell you if there's any repeated recipes or not.
