Sea Clams In Chinese Wine Soup

Wow..such big sea clams and knowing this Momsie who could never resist them, bought a kilo back from the wet market . I love cooking them with chinese wine...it was so tasty and sweet due to the factor that it was very fresh. The meat was succulent and every mouthful makes me crave for more. It was so scrumptious that I had forgotten that I must not tuck in so much of these delicious clams and after that the guilt surfaced.... ohhhh why must I succumbed to such sinful temptation :p but wth just walk a few more rounds , that's it , what's the problem LOL!

look how meaty those clams are.....mmmmm yumm

I love the natural sweetness of these clams...

I would normally cook them in soup with chinese wine

simple yet delicious!

  12. This looks like it keeps the pure sea flavor of the clams in tact - I'm used to soups in the US that drown clams in cream. I like the clear broth!
