Tofu is the family’s favourite food . I know there are many ways of preparing tofu but I have never come across tofu pizza till a foodbuzz friend introduced me to try this out. Me being the adventurous one will of course want to try it out :) and this is the outcome of the dish. A fusion of the east and west. The silky texture of the tofu blends well with the melted cheese and the fragrant of the capsicum added extra flavor to the tofu . My Piggies loved it and I loved it too ! Now I know that tofu can be baked and the texture still remains silky and soft despite being in the oven for 20 mins.
I have to thank Robert Gilles for sharing this wonderful tofu pizza recipe with me . Simply delish! A healthy food indeed.
This is the comment Robert wrote sharing the tofu pizza recipe at the same time :p

ReplyDeleteGreetings!
Thank you so much for linking to my blog!
By the way, I'm preparing a posting on how to make your won tofu!
In Japan, people sometimes use tao imo grated to a liquid consistence calle "tororo jiru", They then mix it with cheese and spices, pour it abundantly on top of a large piece of tofu and bake it inthe oven. The tororo will change completely when cooked with the cheese and forma crusty yummy cover over the hot tofu!
Cheers,
Robert-Gilles
